Although some hospitals manage document distribution through integrated Electronic Medical Records system, the WebEHR distribution module is also capable of routing documents to a variety of destinations both inside and outside of the healthcare provider's network, functions required for ARRA funding qualification.

When supported by a live ADT feed, documents can literally follow the patient through the hospital and print at the nurses station closest to the patient's room (and/or any other IP addressable printer on the network). Documents can also be faxed or emailed (often the preferred method for cc's) and interfaced with multiple HIM, radiology PACS, or other health data repository systems.
